No, I’m not giving a review of Joaquin’s mockumentary. I’m merely recovering.
From strep to a cold to the cold from hell, I’m only today starting to remember what normalcy feels like. I’m actually not exaggerating I had to sit down to put my eye liner on this morning – standing for longer than a minute at a time just wasn’t happening. And somehow I made it through my morning commute to get to work today, so that’s progress right?
I’ll be back tomorrow with the big announcement about the color choice for the kitchen island base. For those of you that don’t follow me on FB, we had a bit of a panic when we realized we actually really liked three colors: taupe, white, and blue.
We put it up for our friends and family to help us decide and well… that didn’t help because everyone loved a different color and for incredibly legitimate reasons only making our decision harder. But many thanks to everyone who put in their two cents because you gave us a LOT of material for a post about choosing paint colors for statement pieces.
On another note, for anyone that used to follow PostGrad on FB and can’t figure out where it went, well… that’s because I took the Fan page down. It’s been several months, but I just didn’t have the numbers to make it worth it to maintain (nothing kicks your ego like realizing that your fan count went down from 12 to 11 one day…). And in the end I remembered that I’m a person, not a brand, and I want my readers, current and new, to feel like they can FB friend the real person. The only downside is that I don’t post links to posts on FB. I love my friends enough to know that not all of them, in fact a significant majority, could care less that I built my own kitchen island or what color I painted the bathroom. That’s why I created a blog in the first place. I do post links up on Twitter(@jnlitton) and Google+, so feel free to follow me there for PostGrad updates.
