This last weekend while killing time in Arlington, VA waiting on my car inspection, I spent the day exploring the city with my sister who just moved to the area. To kick off our excursion, we stopped by a little coffee shop in Ballston called Buzz. I fell in love with the way they’d set up the place right down to the IKEA lights and colored candy as decoration and had to snap a few pictures to share with you.
First, I loved this display right at the front. Functional? OK, not really. But I loved how bright and happy it all looked – apart from my love of candy. I couldn’t help, but admire the Wilton candy melts (which you can buy at Michael’s) in corked glass containers as a simple touch. Unfortunately, incredibly impractical in my own house because if candy exists within reach, I WILL EAT IT.
Then there’s the seating area. Bright orange accent wall, the ever popular IKEA MASKROS lights, and green striped carpet. Not to mention I love these stools! They were so comfortable! Other things I love – the white flower print on the wall that matches the lights in the room and the honeycomb floating shelves (get it? bees… buzz?).
Anyway, if you’re in the area, definitely check it out!
