Remember when I posted about how excited I was about Fall?

Well there is another reason I’m getting really excited about the upcoming months.  Two of my favorite DIY bloggers are releasing books and I can hardly wait to get my hands on them.  Seriously.  I’ve already pre-ordered them on Amazon.  Sorry, Mom.  I couldn’t wait until Christmas.

Blogger, DIYer, and furniture builder Ana White is releasing this awesome book in October.  It’s full of great ideas and building plans for any newbs out there wanting to build something for the house.  In case you didn’t make the connection, Ana’s plans are what we used for building our new headboard in the master bedroom and our dining room table.

Named after their widely popular blog, John and Sherry Petersik’s book is bound to be a big seller in the blogging/DIYer world.  TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY THREE crafty things to do around your house including rug stenciling, lamp painting, and making your own pillow covers.  I love their projects because they show that you actually can make something on your own without it looking homemade which I think tends to just look tacky.
