It’s finally finished. So let me tell you the tale of the headboard. First, I removed a board from what was our original tabletop to be the proper width for the headboard. Then, after re-measuring, I reattached the removed board to be the proper width for the headboard. Bedroom Window Update

As you saw the other day, we finally replaced those awful vertical blinds we’d been dealing with for the past 3 months.  What I didn’t talk about was the little curtain and curtain rod project. Inspiration for this project came from The Lettered Cottage’s recent guest bedroom reveal.  I’d recently acquired some new curtains and curtain rods from a friend who has also just recently moved into a condo 2 blocks away.  At the time I wasn’t necessarily sure we even need them, but certainly wasn’t about to pass up something free and figured this might help motivate me to actually hang some curtains.
